Fun and easy DIY for any wine lover this Valentines Day!
For this project you will need:
-
1x Circle Wooden Board (We used a 40cm round table top)
-
Jigsaw (We used an 18V ONE+™ Cordless Flush Cut Jigsaw)
-
Sander (We used an 18V ONE+™ Cordless Corner Palm Sander)
-
Drill (We used an 18V ONE+™ Cordless Compact Drill Driver)
-
Hole Saw Drill Bits (for larger holes)
-
Spade Bit (for smaller holes)
-
Silicone
-
Ruler/Tape measure

Pencil

Step One - Measure your wood and draw a line across and down the middle to find your centre spot.

Step Two - Using a hole saw drill part cut out your middle hole. We used a 5cm bit.

Step Three - Measure and mark out your wine glass cuts. We did 6cm up the line for the glass holder centre.

Step Four - Using your spade bit drill in your holes for the Wine Glass holders. We did 2cm diameters.

Step Five - Using the holes draw out your lines for the glasses to move into place with. We did 1cm wide channel so not much wiggle room for the glass to move.

Step Six - Use your jigsaw and cut out the channels, starting from the hole outwards.

Step Seven - Sand the sections for a better finish and sand the inner circle heavily on the bottom side of the wood so that it turns slightly angled to grip the wine bottle better.

Step Eight - Use your sealant and do a rough layer around the bottle holder hole for extra grip.
